    SENATE SCRAPS PLANS FOR TURNPIKE MONEY IN JOBS BILL, CHANGES HISTORIC TAX CREDIT, ALLOWS FOR BROADBAND FUNDING

    The Senate on Friday abruptly slammed the brakes on a plan to divert a significant chunk of Ohio turnpike revenue over the next 10 years or so toward other infrastructure projects in the bipartisan economic stimulus package.
